Lee Sjostrom

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer

Lee Sjostrom currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of RSUI. Lee’s attention to detail and deep understanding of business operations allows him to push forward key initiatives. Lee brings over 30 years of experience in financial management and insurance.

Before joining RSUI in 2003, Lee held financial management positions with Voya and Assurant. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta focusing on the financial services industry.

Lee is an active member of WSIA, currently serving on the Legislative Committee. He is also involved with the WSIA E&S School for young insurance professionals. Lee is a licensed CPA and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Additionally, Lee is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs.

He also serves on numerous boards including the City of Hope National Insurance Industry Council and the Atlanta Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from his alma mater, the College of William and Mary. He brings a sense of humor to RSUI and if he is not decked out in William and Mary gear, he is probably dressed up in costume for a company event.
